Large Mailboxes

Most e-mail accounts1 now receive a quota of 250 MB, enough for over 8,000 messages2.

Benefits of this improvement include:
  • Those using Webmail and/or IMAP can now keep years worth of e-mail all in one secure location, rather than relying on a single computer.  (Those using "POP3" still store e-mail on their computer.)

  • Never worry about large attachments, such as pictures, filling your mailbox. You can send or receive up to a 20 MB file3 in each message.

  • Those previously paying for additional space will no longer be charged.

We're happy to provide this free upgrade to our DSL, web-hosting, and email-only subscribers.

1 Large mailboxes apply to all e-mail accounts except those provided with Dial-up. Please consider upgrading to DSL.
2 Using an e-mail message size of 32 KB.
3 Due to MIME encoding, a 20 MB file attachment creates a 28 MB e-mail, which is the actual limit.
