Phishing Scam Alert!

The Tech Support Team has received reports of customers receiving a fake support email claiming to be from Whidbey Telecom. This email makes the claim that customers must reply with login and other personal information in order to keep their email account active. THIS EMAIL IS A PHISHING SCAM. DO NOT REPLY!

Below is one example of how this email may appear. If you receive an email similar to this - do not reply. This is a scam and was not generated by Whidbey Telecom. Just like your bank or credit card company, Whidbey Telecom will never send you an unsolicated email asking for personal information. If you ever have any doubt about the validity of an email claiming to be from Whidbey Telecom, please call us first.

ATTENTION:

Dear email account user of WHIDBEY.NET we want to let you know that our email
data base e-mail accounts homepage view we be upgraded. And we will be deleting
email accounts that are no longer active to create more space for new email accounts
and we are upgrading to a new email version that we increase the storage megabyte
