Selective Call Rejection

Are there people whom you would just rather not talk to? With this feature, their calls won’t have to bother you any more. Selective Call Rejection lets you identify up to 15 telephone numbers from which you won’t accept calls. When someone tries to call you from one of these numbers, he or she will hear an announcement indicating that calls are not presently being accepted.

Selective Call Rejection will work for local numbers and for out-of-area numbers when calls are carried on suitably equipped networks. It will not work for calls from numbers which use call block or line block. Calls made to you using operator assistance will not be rejected.

To Use Selective Call Rejection
  1. To activate Selective Call Rejection, pick up your phone and press *60 (1160 on a rotary phone).
  2. Follow the recorded instructions to set up or modify your list of up to 15 numbers from which you don’t want to accept calls.
  3. To turn Selective Call Rejection off, press *80 (1180 on a rotary phone); calls will then come through as usual. Reactivate Selective Call Rejection by pressing *64; you will not need to reprogram the numbers.
