Western Long Distance, Inc., dba Whidbey Telecom Long Distance, adba Whidbey Long Distance, Point Roberts Long Distance and Hat Island Long Distance, ("Company") has today issued revisions to the Company's Price List.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently issued a Public Notice indicating a increase in the prescribed federal universal service contribution factor. Therefore, you will see a increase in the federal Universal Service Fund (USF) surcharge on your Western Long Distance interstate charges beginning with your March 1, 2010, bill and applicable to calls made subsequent to January 20, 2010. The new USF surcharge is 14.3%.

The revised Price List has an effective date of January 21, 2010.
