NOTICE
Western Long Distance, Inc., dba Whidbey Telecom Long Distance, adba Whidbey Long Distance, Point Roberts Long Distance and Hat Island Long Distance, ("Company") has today issued revisions to the Company's Price List.
The Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) recently issued a Public Notice indicating a decrease
in the prescribed federal universal service contribution factor.
Therefore, you will see a decrease in the federal Universal Service
Fund (USF) surcharge on your Western Long Distance interstate charges
beginning with your September 1, 2010, bill and applicable to calls made
subsequent to July 20, 2010. The new USF surcharge is 13.6%.
The revised Price List has an effective date of July 21, 2010.
