We recently received a Thank You letter that touched us and we want to recognize our friend and colleague, Jeff Baesler, for his selfless act of service. While out on a service call, Jeff noticed an individual who was in need of assistance and readily stopped to help.
This is not your usual “Thank You note” from a customer. I am a WhidbeyTel customer and very happy with my service from your company, but this is different. Last Friday around noon I was driving home when I started to get dizzy and started to pull off the road, but blacked out before I came to a stop and ended up in a ditch. One of your employees, driving a WhidbeyTel truck, whose name was Jeff, realized I was in trouble and stopped to check on the situation. He quickly realized something was seriously wrong and called 911, then stayed with me, keeping me calm until the EMTs and police arrived. Thanks to Jeff’s instinct to stop and help someone who was in distress, there is a happy ending to this story. The EMTs quickly realized I was having a major heart problem and raced me to Providence Hospital in Everett. I am now the proud owner of a new pacemaker and am told I am out of danger and will soon be back to a normal life.
So, I would like to take a moment to personally thank Jeff. He is a wonderful guy, and his concern for someone he did not know and his willingness to the time to check on me may well have saved my life. Thank you from the bottom of my now healthy heart.
Very pleased to hear that your recovery is going so well Bob! We’re so thankful Jeff was present and prepared at the right moment.
Thank you Jeff for your care for our customers and community!
