Have you ever wanted to print a photograph directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Android device? Computer, tablet, and smartphone users rejoice: You can now take advantage of the latest online printing application. Google Cloud Print allows any home printer to be accessed safely and remotely from any device. All you need is an internet connection, a Google (gmail) account, and a Cloud Ready printer.
How does it work? Users have the ability to register their printers with Google while connected to their home WiFi network. If your printer is a Cloud Ready printer, it will register on its own with no additional setup required. No more messy wires, software installations, or complicated settings to configure. Just turn your printer on and connect it to your home wireless network.
Google Cloud Print allows you to print out any document or photo with a click of a button. The document is sent over the web like an email attachment, and then arrives at your printer once its journey is complete. Google Cloud Print also has multiple privacy settings that allow users to delete items they do not want stored on their google account.
Google Cloud Print lets you share your printers with people you trust. This comes in handy when you have friends, family, or even co-workers who need to print important documents or their treasured vacation photographs.
Chromebook users have it extra-easy: Simply press Ctrl + Shift + P to print to your Cloud Ready printer. Those users with Android devices can take advantage of Cloud Print by signing into their google account, then printing directly from their phone’s settings. Apple users can use their device’s web browser to access their google account and print documents from there. For those who have a Windows PC, simply install the Cloud Print driver to print directly from your desktop.
