With Caller ID, you can know who’s calling before you pick up the phone.
- If you have Caller ID-compatible equipment (with a display screen), this service lets you see the telephone number* of an incoming caller.
- And, even if callers hang up or don’t leave a message, if you have Caller ID, your compatible phone can store the numbers*, dates and times of calls.
Caller ID-compatible phones are readily available at many retail locations, or you may buy or lease Caller ID equipment from us.
NOTE: You can use our Anonymous Call Rejection feature to block calls from people who are using line or per call blocking. This feature is available at a low monthly charge, and works with or without Caller ID.
*Callers’ numbers may not be displayed for every incoming call. If the caller uses line blocking or per call blocking, the display may say “private” or “anonymous”, for example. Calls to you from areas without this call signaling capability, or calls made through an operator, may display as “out of area” or “unavailable”.
