Indigenous Peoples’ Day is proudly observed in many communities, cities and states.  This day serves to celebrate the history and culture of Indigenous peoples and to acknowledge the challenges they still face. It is also a day to reflect on the dispossession and violence against Indigenous people.

The annual gathering to honor the first people of the land on Whidbey will be held this October 12th at the Organic Farm School on Maxwelton road.
