Started by Orca Network in 2007, Orca Month is a way to bring people together to celebrate the Southern Resident orcas, raise awareness, and advocate for recovery actions. Since 2016, with the help of our partners in the Orca Salmon Alliance, Orca Action Month is now celebrated in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. The theme for 2025 is “Threads of Life: Connecting Orcas, People and the Future We Share.”
