Long Distance Telecommunications Price List
Western Long Distance, Inc., dba Whidbey Telecom Long Distance, adba Whidbey Long Distance, Point Roberts Long Distance and Hat Island Long Distance, (“Company”) has today issued revisions to the Company’s Price List.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently issued a Public Notice indicating an increase in the prescribed federal universal service contribution factor. Therefore, you will see an increase in the federal Universal Service Fund (USF) surcharge on your Whidbey Telecom Long Distance interstate charges beginning with your March 1, 2023 bill and applicable to calls made subsequent to January 20, 2023. The new USF surcharge is 32.6%.
The revised Price List has an effective date of January 21, 2023.

UPDATING 911/E911 INFORMATION
Spark Voice service uses a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Analog Terminal Adaptor (ATA). Access to 911 or E911 service may be limited or not available from telephones connected through this device in certain circumstances, including impairment or loss of power or Internet access. Also, in some circumstances, the telephone number and/or service address assigned to this device may not display correctly to 911/E911 personnel.
If you move this device to another physical address, you MUST UPDATE THE ADDRESS INFORMATION FOR THIS DEVICE to facilitate accurate identification of your address by 911/E911 personnel. To update the physical address information for this device for 911/E911 purposes, call (360) 321-6826.
